Alf Craft Signs of Ironwood Michigan has been making signs since 1973. At that time there were no computers, vinyl cutters or digital printers. A signmaker's main tools were his hands and his mind. Since that time technology has flooded our world. It has made our lives easier in some cases and more complex in other cases. At Alf Craft we welcome technology and all of the advantages it gives us. But, we still enjoy the simpler things such as running a gouge and chisel through a knotless piece of redwood or running a squirrel hair brush around some carved letters.

These days all of our signs start at the computer. You will see what your sign will look like before we start producing it. There won't be any suprises.

Some of the products we offer are carved and engraved signs, made out of several species of wood or one of the new (and wonderful) composite or foam products. Our reputation was built on these types of signs and they are still our favorite to produce. We also do vinyl lettering and graphics (lots of it!) for signs, vehicles, windows, and just about anything else that stuff will stick to. Billboards, flexi face and painted are another product we can provide to you. We can also do sign cabinets and l.e.d. reader boards. If we cannot do it, we will send you to someone who can.

Our prices are reasonable. In fact, they haven't changed in over 10 years. Our overhead is low and none of us are rich. This means lower cost to our clients. We are in the sign business because we truly enjoy it. Not many people can say that about their line of work.
